The SpiritWorks Herb Farm offers an experience aligned with nature’s rhythms and an experience to learn about the growth requirements and therapeutic uses of medicinal herbs while building health and creating community.

Herb Farm Management Apprentice
This apprenticeship offers multifaceted training in farm and garden development, maintenance, and
logistics. Under the supervision and guidance of the Farm Manager, apprentices will develop managerial
and leadership skills in this physically rigorous position. The farm manager assistant will aid in all
aspects of farm planing and operations including responsibilites that ensure an abundant quality herb and
food harvest. Responsibilities will include soil conditioning, irrigation, herbal propagation, harvesting,
and land management. Apprentices will develop a self-guided curriculum and participate in a
community, focused on health-building and positivity.
In this apprenticeship, students will help manage the on-site SpiritWorks Apothecary under the guidance
of the Apothecary Manager, develop a self-guided curriculum with the Wellness Coordinatior, and gain
hands-on farm experience under the supervision of the Farm Manager. One will be challenged
physically and mentally to grow themselves as well as medicinal herbs. Apprentices will cultivate
themselves as leaders, gain a wealth of farm and wellness knowledge, and participate in a community
focused on health-building and positivity.
SpiritWorks Herb farm is home to over one hundred varieties of medicinal herbs. Under the supersivion
of the Wellness Director, and in coordination with the Apothecary and Farm Managers, the herbal
nutrtition apprentice will explore herbalism through meal planning and preparation by utilizing herbs
and food from the farm for staff, wellness program, and retreat meals. Apprentices will be challenged
physically and mentally to complete a self-guided curriculum, gain hands-on farm experience, and
develop themselves as leaders in health and wellness. Responsibilites designing and implementing
health-conscious menus for special farm events and retreats will occur throughout the season.
Apprentices will participate in a community focused on health-building and positivity.
The Program Director Apprentice will assist the Program Director and Wellness Coordinator in all
aspects of the management of the SpiritWorks Herb Farm venue and community. Located outside
beautiful Whitefish, Montana, the gardens of SpiritWorks Herb Farm grow a wide variety of medicinal
and culinary herbs. This property hosts a campground and retreat center, complete with a yoga room and
separate kitchen. This apprenticeship will include developing diverse business skills through assisting
with site management, organizing event logistics, marketing, scheduling, on-site hospitality management
and farm administration and record keeping. Apprentices will cultivate themselves as leaders, gain a
wealth of program development and implemention knowledge, business acumen with farm managment,
apothecary managment, and herbal nutrition logistics. Apprentices will participate in a community
focused on health-building and positivity.
We are accepting applications for a few interns this season. This is a non-paid position offering diverse
learning opportunities at our herb farm, apothecary, retreat center, campground and wellness programs.
Interns are requested to formulate and share personal and professional goals with their applications.
Interns are expected to participate in a team-oriented community focused on health-building and
positivity.

Our Apprentice and Farm Intern experiences includes on-site course materials, direct mentoring with our Farm Manager, Apothecary Manager, Program Director, and Wellness Coordinator in exchange for 5-day work week.

Fee for room/board @ $1000/month. Early season housing in shared rooms; May - mid-September housing in tents. Meals are primarily farm to table with culinary herbalism flare. Community participation in meal prep and clean-up
