MEET OUR TEAM

Lindy Dewey, Owner of SpiritWorks LLC

Lindy has been known to be a mistress of magic and manifestation. Founder of SpiritWorks Trilogy, Lindy is the mother of three grown sons and a seasoned healing arts practitioner with expertise in both craniosacral and polarity therapies.

Lindy has dedicated the property as a healing sanctuary with a wide spectrum of healing arts and touch therapies that are available to those interested.  Lindy aims to offer health-building resources that will stretch and expand your wellness and vitality. Check out the "Clinic" section to learn more about her healing arts practice.

Lindy has gardened and farmed most of her life in Northern New England, in the foothills of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Green Mountains of Vermont. She relocated to NW Montana from Vermont in 2008, and has enjoyed experimenting with what grows well in Montana (which, shockingly, has included artichokes and peaches). Lindy likens herself to an artist using plants for paints and the land as her canvas.

When not farming, recruiting new SpiritWorkers, or addressing the visibility and potential of our Retreat Center, Lindy can be found hiking, skiing, paddle boarding or knitting. She enjoys vibrant health and the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that are boundless next to and in the Crown Jewel of Glacier National Park.

Darla Boley, Farm Manager

Darla Boley continues as our Farm Manager, leading us into her third year in this role. She is extremely knowledgeable, and brings a depth of care and humility to her role that is recognized by the volunteers and apprentices she trains. Darla is passionate about connecting people to nature and using nature as medicine.

Darla grew up in Minnesota. She then received a degree in Geography with a Concentration in Environmental Studies at La Crosse, WI. After college, Darla worked for the National Park Service during her summers, gaining experience at different parks around the country. In the winters, she pivoted to work at various ski resorts. She eventually got tired of the nomadic lifestyle and settled down at the farm in 2022.

In both her work and her play, Darla loves being outside! She lives by the seasons, spending summers hiking, paddle boarding and going to concerts and winters snowboarding, ice skating and cross-country skiing.

Darla has one roommate who shares her tiny home on the farm. Named Ginger, her roommate also happens to be the resident mouse exterminator. He enjoys catnip, lying out in the sun, and climbing people while they're bent over to weed!

Anna Prestegaard, Education & Community Engagement Strategist

Anna is an integral part of SpiritWorks’ mission to educate the local community about the medicinal properties of the herbs the farm grows. She designs and leads workshops, creates educational content, and builds valuable collaborations with local partners. Anna is deeply committed to expanding the apothecary’s reach by pursuing creative, plant-centered initiatives and fostering community connections to make herbal wellness accessible and impactful for all.

Anna has been drawn back to SpiritWorks time and time again, with stints away to finish her degree in Environmental Studies and care for farm animals at a sanctuary in upstate New York. Anna began on the farm as a 2018 WWOOFer and has been a dedicated team member since 2022. This season she has stepped into the role of Education & Community Engagement Strategist, expanding our weekly herbal presentations (April–October) to include monthly workshops and wellness programs year-round covering a broad spectrum of topics. With a passion for experimenting with herbs in cooking and baking, she loves showing others how to incorporate herbs into their daily lives. When she’s not planning events for the farm, you can probably find her in front of her sewing machine.
