About The Location
SpiritWorks Trilogy encompasses our herb farm & apothecary, retreat center, and wellness clinic. Situated in Whitefish, MT, we’re nestled in the mountains near stunning Glacier National Park.
The retreat will take place on a working farm, where we grow over 100 Organic, medicinal herbs that will be featured throughout the weekend.
Site amenities include: a wood-fired hot tub & sauna; yoga & massage equipment; farm-to-table, produce-centered meals; a fire pit & barbecue area; a knowledge-packed library; a badminton net & tetherball court; forested walking trails.
About Your Teacher
The author of several books on herbal medicine and healing, clinical herbalist Elaine Sheff has been passionate about sharing her herbal knowledge for over 35 years. She is a graduate of the Rocky Mountain Center of Botanical Medicine and the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine, with a certification in Aromatherapy from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy to boot. She co-founded both Meadowsweet Herbs and the Green Path Herb School in Missoula, MT. In her current role as Co-Director of Green Path, she strives to inspire and empower students to remember their connection to the earth, the plants, and their own healing process.

Herbs for Immune Support Lecture & Product-Making (Pt I: Saturday)
As winter approaches, join Herbalist Elaine Sheff and learn about the best herbs to strengthen your immune system and prepare for the cold and flu season. Elaine will discuss how to support both innate and acquired immunity. Together, you will explore the best herbs for winter wellness, including deep immune tonics, immune stimulants, herbal immunomodulators, and adaptogens. After an in-depth learning session, you’ll get to concoct your own immune pills and fire cider to take home and stock your medicine cabinet.
Herbs for Cold & Flu Lecture &
Product-Making (Pt II: Sunday)
As hard as we may try not to get sick, sometimes we end up with sniffles, a head cold, or even a nasty flu. Join herbalist Elaine Sheff to learn how to treat those winter illnesses naturally. Elaine will discuss the best herbal anti-virals, antimicrobials, lymphagogues, essential oils, and even liver herbs (come to class to find out why!) to have on hand for your winter season. Following the educational component, you’ll get hands-on experience making elderberry syrup as well as an aromatic chest rub.
