SpiritWorks Sanctuary is Born!

I am making a huge pivot and personal life purpose reveal here  with the intent that it will benefit many. SpiritWorks Sanctuary has been born!

When I moved onto this property in 2011, I shifted the use of the land that had served this community as a laser tag business to become a healing sanctuary — a healing sanctuary for my distressed life force. I spent my first years here doing deep personal healing work and then opened up the gardens I had created and expanded into a certified organic herb farm where people could come and grow herbs and grow themselves as they did.

Since 2014, this medicinal herb farm has had the intent to provide the best quality potent herbs possible for people’s health building and to do so in a manner that people can come here and learn how to grow, harvest, and use herbs.  We have offered internships, apprenticeships, and many many classes and workshops in the past 13 years.

Since 2016, I’ve had a Retreat center that I’ve primarily marketed to the vacation rental market  with the intent that people can come here and deeply connect with nature, themselves, and those they have come here with.  While this has been successful  for those who have vacationed here, it is the Wellness and Corporate Retreats that have been most satisfying and impactful  and offered the information for the shift now happening.

Last fall, I shut everything down - the farm, the Retreat Center - to re-create and re-enter a personal sanctuary to rediscover my spiritual underpinnings, re-establish my daily life enhancing and grounding rituals, and rediscover my compass heading with recognition of all I have been given and what has been created here with the help of those who wished to be beside me, growing, learning, transforming this land.

 I do not need to illuminate for anyone that our world is in deep distress.

I perceive an immense need for sanctuary. I have needed it for myself, and I have been blessed with having diverse footprints that can offer it to others in a comprehensive and powerful way that is connected to nature and offers powerful plant intelligence and extensive health building resources.

Spiritworks medicinal herb farm is now a permaculture herbal sanctuary with options for others to come and be here - to be in a sanctuary that values becoming still and listening deeply and is well resourced with health restoring modalities, including hydrotherapy, infrared, pulsed magnetic resonance, yoga equipment, a classroom, a library, an apothecary, ten acres featuring a meadow frequented by wildlife and embraced by forested walking paths, and local wellness professionals willing to offer their knowledge and services on-site.
